Free Parent/Carer Coffee Mornings
New Venue!!: Gilthill Primary School
Date: Every first Wednesday of the month.
Time: 9.00-11.00am.
The coffee mornings are open to all parents or carers in the local community and are a great opportunity to come along and share ideas and experiences with other parents.

NORSACA
NORSACA is a charity that enables people with autism to live their lives with dignity, choice and independence.
The charity was established in 1968 by a group of parents who wanted to ensure that there were appropriate educational facilities for children with autism in the Nottinghamshire area. The school they set up, Sutherland House, is now located across five different sites. The charity also offers residential and day care services for adults. In addition, Family Services offers help and support to the families of people with autism.
There are many parent programme events and workshops that are happening in the Nottinghamshire area including autism in the primary years and the survivors guide to autism and difficult behaviour.

Parents, carers and families are the most important influence on outcomes for children and young people. The Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme aims to ensure that support for parents becomes routine, particularly at key points in a child or young person's life.
As the Extended Service Coordinators we are working to make sure parents and families have access to the support that they need, when they need it!
To develop support for all Parents within the Family, we will provide relevant information and advice through providing links and telephone help-lines to useful services available to parents.
